Dabangg 3 (2019)

Dabangg 3 (2019)

1080p

Dabangg 3 is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Prabhu Deva and co-produced by Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan under their respective banners of Salman Khan Films and Arbaaz Khan Productions. The film serves as a circumquel to the 2010 film Dabangg and 2012 film Dabangg 2, and is the third installment of the Dabangg film series. The screenplay of the film is written by Salman Khan, Prabhu Deva, and Alok Upadhyaye. The story, written by Salman Khan, is set in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The film features Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha,[8]and Arbaaz Khan[9] reprising their roles from the previous film, along with Sudeep as the antagonist and Saiee Manjrekar in her Bollywood debut.

Set after the events of Dabangg 2, the film showcases Chulbul Pandey's origin as a police officer, after his encounter with an old rival named Bali Singh refreshes his memory.

Along with dubbed versions in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu languages, the film was theatrically released in India on 20 December 2019. It opened to mixed reviews from critics who praised Khan and Sudeep's performances while others found it formulaic and weaker as compared to the prequels.[13] At the box office, the film's collections were further affected by the CAA protests, making it the second lowest-grossing film in the franchise.

Starting off again with a heroic antic, the story moves ahead from Dabangg 2 with the corrupt yet much loved cop, ASP Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan), preventing a robbery at a wedding, and beating the goons and their leader, Gullu, black and blue. Gullu then agrees to return to his former part-time job as a wedding band trumpeter, and Chulbul is seen dealing with the everyday lives of his wife Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha), brother Makhanchand "Makkhi" Pandey (Arbaaz Khan), also a police officer, and his son, while his father Prajapati Pandey (Pramod Khanna) stays at home with Rajjo. Makkhi appears to be enjoying a lavish lifestyle most of the times. One fateful day, a despaired girl, probably injured, arrives in a hurry at Makkhi's station after escaping from somewhere, and seeks help; Makkhi, expecting to punish her captors, who tried to sell her and other girls off, is joined by Chulbul, and after a scuffle, the brothers arrest Chinti Walia (Dolly Bindra), who runs a prostitution racket.

While trying to force a confession out of Chinti at the police station, Chulbul intercepts a lawyer and some goons who have come over to have Chinti released, but he tears off the court order, and in desperation, the leader of the goons keeps his video call going on even as Chulbul smiles into the screen. Minutes later, the leader shows the video call to Bali Singh (Sudeep), who sees Chulbul, who in turns looks back into the phone camera to see Bali. Shocked beyond words, he reminisces his younger days, recalling his fate with Bali.

Years ago, when he was still young, Chulbul, whose real name turns out to be Dhaakad Chand Pandey, fell in love with a girl, Khushi (Saiee Manjrekar), who was initially being considered as a potential bride for Makkhi, after he noticed a photo of her in Makkhi's hand, and told his mother, Naini Devi (Dimple Kapadia), that he would be a good fit instead of Makkhi; a few days later, Khushi's maternal uncle Prabhat and maternal aunt Janki (Medha Manjrekar) agreed to the match between Dhaakad and Khushi, and the two began courting each other. At the same time, Bali, a ruthless and violent goon, set his eyes on Khushi and began making arrangements for his marriage with her. However, the moment he saw Dhaakad with Khushi, he decided to kill Khushi and her family right in front of Dhaakad's eyes after luring him to the spot. Prabhat and Janki were both killed, and Khushi was thrown off a cliff to die. Consequently, both Khushi's uncle Hariya (Mahesh Manjrekar) and his daughter Rajjo, revealed to be Khushi's friend, were deeply affected; Hariya took to alcoholism, while Dhaakad, who was framed by Bali and spent much time in prison for the deaths, was taken in by Commissioner Singh (Sharat Saxena) after saving him from attackers, and transformed into an uptight cop, naming himself Chulbul, in Khushi's memory, forming the events of Dabangg.

At present, Chulbul, having relayed this entire episode to Prajapati and Rajjo, decides that he has had enough, and he needs to close the chapter once and for good. Meanwhile, an ill-attracted Makkhi is misled by Bali into turning against Chulbul, nearly so as to slap him after he too is promoted to the rank of ASP. The action causes him to be banished from home by Prajapati, and he joins hands with Bali actively. Bali, who is set to become a politician and a minister in the upcoming elections, plans to bring in a truck filled with lots of money, and thus gets Makkhi and many other policemen in his circle transferred to one common location in order to facilitate the transportation. Chulbul, however, intercepts the truck and turns Bali's moles in the police force against Bali himself. As revenge, Bali gets several of Chulbul's associates kidnapped and brutally beaten to near death, until Chulbul breaks in again and frees them all, even when Bali has run awaywith Makkhi and some reliable accomplices.

Seeking to lure Bali into counterproductive action, Chulbul kidnaps Minister S. S. Sharma and his brother-in-law by staging a ploy with Gullu's help, and forces a confession out of them, which is made viral. Bali notices the same and Makkhi helps him track them down since he recognizes the hideout. Upon arriving there, Bali kills Sharma and injures his brother-in-law; in retaliation, he sends wrestlers to attack Rajjo and her son, but Chulbul arrives in time to save the two.

Some time later, Chulbul receives a call from Prajapati, who tells him that Rajjo hasn't arrived home. Sensing Bali's hand in the matter, he invades a quarry where Bali has held Rajjo, and surprisingly, Makkhi himself, as hostages - Makkhi was always on Chulbul's side and it was a game by the brothers to incense Bali; after an intense confrontation, Chulbul kills Bali.

Dabangg (2010)

Dabangg (transl. Fearless) is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Abhinav Kashyap, and produced by Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan under Arbaaz Khan Productions, and Dhillin Mehta under Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. Khan's elder brother Salman Khan stars in the lead role, with Sonakshi Sinha in her acting debut, Arbaaz, Om Puri, Dimple Kapadia, Vinod Khanna, Anupam Kher, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mahie Gill featuring in supporting roles, while Sonu Sood plays the main antagonist. The film marks the debut of Arbaaz as a producer and Kashyap as a director. Malaika Arora appears in the item number "Munni Badnaam Hui".

Dabangg is set in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, and tells the story of a fearless police officer, Chulbul Pandey, and his troubled relationship with his stepfather and half-brother. Made with a budget of ₹300 million and marketed at ₹120 million, Dabangg was shot primarily in the town of Wai in Maharashtra, while other major scenes were shot in the United Arab Emirates.

Dabangg was released during Eid-Ul-Fitr on 10 September 2010 in nearly 2100 cinemas worldwide. It opened to generally positive reviews, and went on to gross ₹2.19 billion ($47 million) worldwide. It is the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2010.Dabangg has won several awards—the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and six Filmfare Awards, including Best Film and Best Female Debut (Sinha). Later remade in Tamil as Osthe and in Telugu as Gabbar Singh, the film was followed by two sequels: Dabangg 2 (2012) and Dabangg 3 (2019). The latter serves as a partial prequel, describing a flashback which formed the events of Dabangg itself.

Chulbul Pandey, a young boy, lives with his younger half-brother, Makkhanchand "Makkhi" Pandey, stepfather Prajapati Pandey and mother, Naina Devi in Laalgunj, Uttar Pradesh. He has a troubled relationship with Prajapati and Makkhi. After 21 years, Chulbul becomes a policeman. Chulbul, who calls himself "Robin Hood" Pandey, still lives with his family. Makkhi is in love with Nirmala, whose father Masterji opposes the relationship. Chulbul falls in love with a girl named Rajjo, whom he meets during a police chase culminating in an encounter.

A corrupt political leader named Chedi Singh meets Chulbul and both quickly become enemies. Makkhi asks Prajapati to arrange his marriage with Nirmala. Prajapati refuses because he needs money to repay the loans he took to make his factory, and he believes that he can acquire money through his son marrying a rich girl. In desperate need of money, Makkhi steals some cash from Chulbul's cupboard and gives the stolen cash to Masterji, hoping that he will permit Makkhi to marry Nirmala. Meanwhile, Chulbul meets Rajjo and proposes marriage, which she rejects, as she has to take care of her father, Hariya—a drunkard.

Chulbul comes home to find his mother, Naini Devi, dead. He goes to Prajapati to make peace, as he is the only family left. However, Prajapati refuses and despises him as an outcast. Makkhi invites Chulbul to his marriage with Nirmala. Chulbul convinces Hariya to marry Rajjo. Hariya commits suicide, as he knows that Rajjo will not marry anyone while he is alive. Chulbul takes Rajjo to Makkhi's exuberant wedding. Realising that Makkhi has stolen his money to finance the wedding, Chulbul marries Rajjo in an impromptu ceremony. Masterji feels disgraced and cancels Makkhi's wedding with Nirmala.

Makkhi beats up one of the workers in his factory due to a small mishap. The worker goes to the police station with his mother to file a complaint. Chulbul beats up Makkhi in public to disgrace him. Chedi takes advantage of the situation and takes Makkhi along with Prajapati to the police station. Prajapati resolves the situation by accepting an apology from Chulbul. Chulbul meets Dayal Sahu a.k.a. Dayal Babu, a local political leader, who also dislikes Chedi. With his help, Chulbul adulterates Chedi's breweries and wrongly frames him for it.

To take revenge, Chedi burns Makkhi's factory. Prajapati, shocked, suffers a heart attack and is hospitalised. Makkhi goes to Chedi for help, little knowing that he was the one responsible. Chedi agrees to finance Prajapati's treatment if he delivers a crate of mangoes to Dayal Babu's house. Unbeknownst to Makkhi, Chedi has placed a bomb inside the crate, which explodes after he leaves, killing Dayal Babu. Chedi gives Makkhi a task to kill Chulbul. Makkhi accepts, but ends up confessing it to Chulbul. He reveals to Chulbul that Chedi made him plant the bomb unknowingly. Chulbul forgives him and reconciles with him. During a final confrontation between Chulbul and Chedi, Makkhi reveals to Chulbul that it was Chedi, who killed Naini. Enraged, Chulbul suffocates Chedi to death. Later, Chulbul gets Makkhi married to Nirmala in the presence of her father, while Rajjo reveals that she is pregnant.

SoundTrack

The soundtrack album was composed by the music director duo Sajid-Wajid and Lalit Pandit, while the lyrics were penned by Faiz Anwar, Lalit Pandit and Jalees Sherwani. Lalit Pandit wrote the song "Munni Badnaam Hui". The album was launched on 6 August 2010 in Delhi. The album contains five original songs, four remixes and one theme song. The audio rights of Dabangg were sold for about ₹90 million (US$1.3 million) to T-Series.

The track "Munni Badnaam Hui" is said to be inspired by an old Bhojpuri folk song "Launda Badnaam Hua Naseeban Tere Liye". Director Abhinav Kashyap accepted using the folk song saying that he, being from Uttar Pradesh, was familiar with the song since childhood so he suggested the very song to be improvised and rephrased to fit the film's requirement. It was alleged that it was inspired from the Pakistani song "Ladka Badnaam Hua" from the film Mr. Charlie (1992).

Dabangg's soundtrack received generally positive reviews from music critics. Joginder Tuteja of Bollywood Hungama gave the album 3 stars and said, "[it] delivers what it promised. One expected a masala soundtrack and this is what one gets with a couple of item song sequences, a couple of theme tracks and two love songs which are actually the highlight of the film. A soundtrack that has something in store for mass as well as class."[36] Atta Khan of Planet Bollywood gave it a rating of 6 out of 10, and called the soundtrack "simple, catchy, easy on the ears and fun". In a 3-star rating, critic Devesh Sharma of Filmfare praised Sajid-Wajid's composition, and the track "Chori Kiya Re Jiya", calling it "[pleasure] to the ears".

The album performed well on the charts after its release. The tracks "Tere Mast Mast Do Nain" and "Munni Badnaam" were successful, and entered the list of top 20 most frequently played songs on radio in India.[39] In August 2010, the track "Tere Mast Mast Do Nain" reached number-one on the Official Asian Download Chart in the United Kingdom based on legal downloads in that country.

Invested at ₹700 million (US$9.8 million), filming for Dabangg 2 began on 9 March 2012 in Mumbai.

Dabangg 2 theatrically released in India on 21 December 2012 during the Christmases festival. It earned ₹583 million (US$8.2 million) nett in India within three days of its release to break the record of Ek Tha Tiger, another film featuring Salman Khan. Dabangg 2 grossed over ₹2.52 billion (US$35 million) at the worldwide box office, becoming the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2012 behind Ek Tha Tiger, and one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. The film acculumated ₹1.55 billion (US$22 million) nett and was termed a "blockbuster" by Box Office India. The third film in the franchise, Dabangg 3, was released in December 2019

The story carries on from the previous film— Inspector Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan)— in charge of a local police station in Kanpur and resides there with his wife Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha), half brother Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan) and stepfather (Vinod Khanna). A boy gets kidnapped from a school, therefore Chulbul deals with the problem. In Kanpur, an assassin murders a witness who is about to testify against a dreaded don. Chulbul tracks the assassin down, killing him at a coffeehouse. The don is Thakur Bachcha Singh (Prakash Raj), a struggling politician. After several public altercations, Bachcha's brother Genda (Deepak Dobriyal) convinces him to get rid of Pandey, threatening Chulbul's stepfather to kill his entire family if Chulbul keeps on interfering in Bachcha's criminal activities.

Genda harasses a girl, arriving at her wedding to kidnap her. Chulbul arrives at the wedding and asks Genda to leave. Genda refuses to comply and continues to insult Chulbul. Chulbul breaks his neck, leading to his death. In the meantime his wife becomes pregnant, Pandey being advised by everybody to leave Bachcha alone for the sake of his family's safety. Bachcha, promising to avenge his brother's death, decides to do so before the election. He meets Rajjo and Makkhi while they are leaving a temple where Makkhi is shot by Bachcha and Rajjo is pushed off the temple stairs. However, both of them survive with Rajjo having a miscarriage and suffering a head injury.

Chulbul is enraged at the loss of his first child. He enters Bachcha's location and kills all of his men. He fights him and gets him arrested, but when Bachcha tries to threaten him, he kills him instantly by grabbing a gun and shooting him with two bullets in the chest. Later, Chulbul and Rajjo have their first child, a baby boy. Right at the end, Chedi Singh's photographer (from the first film, Dabangg) arrives asking for a family photo. Featuring Sushant Singh Rajput and newcomer Sara Ali Khan in lead roles, it tells an inter-faith love story between a wealthy Hindu Brahmin girl whose family owns a lodge and shops near the historic Kedarnath Temple in the Uttarakhand mountains and a humble Muslim boy who is a 'pithoo' (porter) working in the same vicinity. As their relationship grows closer, the pair face many obstacles, including familial disapproval and contrasting backgrounds; when the sudden rains of the 2013 Uttarakhand floods devastate the region, the couple are forced to survive against the elements and face the ultimate test of their love.

The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala of RSVP Movies of Guy in the Sky Pictures, along with Pragya Kapoor and Abhishek Nayyar; it was co-written with Kapoor by Kanika Dhillon. The film's production began in June 2017, and principal photography commenced on 5 September 2017. The film released on 7 December 2018 to mixed reviews, but with praise for Khan's debut performance.

In the valley around the Kedarnath temple, Mansoor Khan (Sushant Singh Rajput) is a local Muslim porter. Mandakini "Mukku" Mishra (Sara Ali Khan) is the daughter of a Hindu priest who runs the hostel for pilgrims by the temple on behalf of the temple committee. She is engaged to the nephew of the head priest. He was meant to marry her older sister, but he dumped the sister and switched to her when she grew up to be prettier, and her father agreed. Out of rebellion, Mukku flirts with the local boys and convinces them to come to her house and propose in order to embarrass her father and fiance. However, Mansoor is different, as they both notice each other and then Mukku makes the first move and hires him as her regular porter as she goes from her family home to a neighbouring village to help at her uncle’s shop. She talks and talks to him and flirts outrageously and finally gets enough of a reaction to know he feels the same way. They are trapped in the rain together, share stories of their childhood, and then share a kiss. Her envious sister tells Mansoor that Mukku is just flirting with him as she has flirted with all the other boys. Mukku is unable to defend herself when he confronts her, but starts following him around everywhere, finally sitting in the rain outside his house. Her sister tries to cover for her, but she is found out and her family come for her, planning to throw out all the Muslims, which, not-so-coincidentally, will also open up space for the new luxury hotel they are planning.

Mukku is taken home by her family who move up her wedding. Nevertheless she keeps insisting that Mansoor will come for her. Mansoor comes, but is spotted and beaten brutally by Mukku's fiance. However, his friend pleas to save him and carries an unconscious Mansoor back to his home. While the porter community prepares to leave the valley, Mansoor decides not to leave without Mukku.

Mukku is married and attempts to commit suicide, but is saved by her family; her now-husband taunts Mansoor with the news. Mansoor runs to Mukku and promises he will come back for her that night when she is recovered, so they can leave the valley together. Her husband plans to take his band of priests and kill Mansoor and drive out all the Muslims in Hindu deity Shiva’s name. All of a sudden the rains and the floods begin. Mansoor sends his mother with the other porters into the mountains and runs towards Mukku. She and her family are trying to gather the guests of their hostel in a top floor, her husband and his mother arrive driven in by the storm and Mukku refuses to go to him. And then the floor crashes down and her sister and mother are swept away along with half the other people. Mukku and her father and a few others make their way to the temple, Mansoor finds them there just as the water sweeps down. He grabs her hand in the flood, and her father holds on to her and all three are saved. After the water goes down, they make their way to a house that is still standing and wave at an Indian army helicopter that is coming to save them. Mansoor sends up the woman and child who are with them first, then Mukku’s father, then Mukku, and finally prepares to go himself. But there is only space for one more person and the father of the family has not gone yet, so Mansoor sacrifices himself and sends him instead. Three years later, Mukku is still seen living with her father and running the lodge, listening to Mansoor's favourite song on the radio which she dedicated to him as she smiles.

Good Newwz (2019)

Good Newwz is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Raj Mehta in his directorial debut and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, Shashank Khaitan and Aruna Bhatia under their respective banners Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.Starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, the film revolves around two couples tryst with in vitro fertilisation. The shooting commenced in November 2018 and was completed in April 2019. It was theatrically released in India on 27 December 2019.

Varun Batra is the CEO of a Volkswagen showroom in Mumbai. He and his wife Deepti "Deepu" Batra are a happily married couple going on seven years. However, they struggle to conceive a baby. Varun's sister Richa suggests the couple meet reputed fertility specialist Anand Joshi, who suggests they do in vitro fertilisation (IVF), a fertility technique that will enhance their chances. They agree, Varun submits sperm samples, and doctor Anand seemingly places Varun's sperm in Deepu's embryo.

12 days later, Varun and Deepu are hastily summoned by Anand's wife, Dr. Sandhya Joshi. Here, Varun and Deepu encounter the other Batra couple, Honey Batra and Monika "Moni" Batra , a couple from Chandigarh, who have taken up IVF as well. Anand guiltily reveals that a sperm mix-up has occurred: Varun's sperm have been mixed with Moni's eggs, and Honey's sperm with Deepu's eggs. Shocked beyond belief, both couples attack the two doctors. The doctors suggest that the couples go for a minor procedure so there is no chance of pregnancy. Varun later finds out from Honey that Moni is pregnant with Varun's child, but his rudeness causes Honey to fear the loss of his own child as Deepu has also gotten pregnant. He vows to prevent an abortion on Deepu's part, and he and Moni rent out an apartment just above Varun's and Deepu's, much to the couple's shock.

Varun and Deepu initially project frustration against Honey and Moni the first six months of pregnancy for interfering in their lives. However, during a routine check-up in the seventh month of pregnancy, Sandhya advises Deepu to try talking to Moni, who is probably going through as much as she is emotionally. Realizing that she needs to try understanding the situation, Deepu asks Moni out for food, during which they start getting to know each other. Deepu learns that Moni had suffered two miscarriages, making her sympathize, and the women bond. However, Varun still nurses a negative attitude, especially since Deepu is not carrying his child. Deepu takes a stand, telling Varun that he has never even tried to understand or care for what she has been going through ever since all of this happened.

Honey and Varun begin bonding at a bar until Honey expresses concern over Deepu's work commitments, which he thinks will have a negative impact on the child. Varun, incensed, tells Honey to buzz off, and the mood quickly puts an end to the bonding. An argument between the two escalates until Varun storms out and Honey is arrested.

That night, Moni knocks on Deepu's door in desperation: she has gone into premature labor and Honey is nowhere to be found. Varun hurriedly drives Moni to the hospital and she gives birth. However, the newborn is shifted to a critical unit in grave condition, having been born with a respiratory defect, accelerated by Moni's history of miscarriages, with little chance of survival. As it hits him that the baby is in fact his, Varun begins crying and hugs Honey when Honey arrives. Varun goes home and breaks down in Deepu's arms, apologizing for his previous behavior.

For a few weeks, both couples pray for the baby's recovery and Moni remains in the hospital. The baby finally recovers and Deepu too has a successful delivery. Varun, now a changed man, invites Honey and Moni to meet the baby. Both couples finally bond and accept each other, holding each other's babies in their arms.

Jawaani Jaaneman is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Nitin Kakkar, and produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jay Shewakramani and lead actor Saif Ali Khan under the banners of Pooja Entertainment, Black Knight Films and Northern Lights Films. It stars Saif Ali Khan as a 40 year-old father and debutant Alaya Furniturewala as his daughter, alongside Tabu. The film revolves around Jazz, a property broker and party animal in London, who has to confront a daughter he never knew he had, who is also pregnant.

Principal photography of the film took place from 14 June to 24 August 2019 in London, England. It was theatrically released in India on 31 January 2020 to mixed-to-positive reviews. It grossed ₹45 crore worldwide to emerge as one of Khan's more successful small-budget films.

Jaswinder "Jazz" Singh (Saif Ali Khan) is a 40-year-old carefree womaniser who works in London as a property broker during the day with his brother Dimpy (Kumud Mishra) and parties at night in a bar owned by his friend Rocky (Chunky Pandey), usually taking whichever girl agrees to go to his home for a one-night stand. Jazz, along with his brother Dimpy, has to negotiate a multi-million-pound deal involving a property in Hounslow, but his aged landlady Malika (Kamlesh Gill) refuses to part with her home, and his repeated attempts to convince her to give it up for the new construction do not succeed.

One night, Jazz is partying as usual when a girl spills her drink on him; she apologises and he carries on. The next night, at the bar, she reveals herself to him as Tia (Alaya Furniturewala), a 21-year-old Amsterdammer who has come to London for some personal work, as she puts it. He agrees to take her to his home. There, Tia tells him that she is on a quest to find her long-lost father, and that Jazz is one of three possible options, based on a photograph of Tia's mother with him. When she tells him that she might be his daughter, he is aghast, but she advises him to take a DNA test to confirm the results. When the results arrive, it transpires that not only is Tia Jazz's daughter, but she also happens to be pregnant.

A shocked Jazz initially refuses to accept the truth; when Tia offers to stay with him and deliver her baby at his home, he refuses, saying that he cannot take on the responsibility of running a family. She moves in next door to his house. He consults his hairdresser friend Rhea (Kubbra Sait), who is his age, for advice. She congratulates him and advises him to confront his being not only a father but also an impending grandfather. His reckless partying ways continue at personal expense, as once he falls from a bar table, drunk, and breaks his leg. His feelings for Rhea grow, but when he tries to have sex with her at her home, she stops him and asks him to give up his lecherous ways, and instead to be a good friend and nothing more.

Meanwhile Tia visits Jazz at his home regularly, and silently resolves to endear herself to his family. One night Jazz's brother Dimpy and their parents visit his home. Despite Jazz warning her against it, Tia embraces everyone, and catches them unawares when she shows them her sonogram on Jazz's projector, forcing him to explain the situation. When they leave, an elated Tia tells Jazz that she had come in search of a father but instead found a family. Tia also convinces his landlady Malika to agree to the property deal and part with her house, which she accepts on the condition that a willow tree, that she has grown with since her childhood, not be touched.

The two happily live through her pregnancy, until one day when Tia's hippie mother Ananya (Tabu) and Tia's boyfriend Rohan turn up from Amsterdam unannounced. Ananya and Rohan's hippie, drug-fuelled, wanton ways are too much for Jazz to handle, and he fears that this may impact Tia's delivery. One day Jazz and Dimpy are celebrating the launch of their new prime property in Hounslow, when Tia arrives and notices in the model of the property that the willow tree is missing. Hurt, she leaves; when Jazz confronts her, and attempts to convince her that the millions to be gained from the property will more than compensate for the lost tree, she tells him tearfully that, instead of a father, she has found a property broker.

Tia, Ananya and Rohan proceed to leave Jazz's house to catch a train to Amsterdam, which leaves the next day. A despondent Jazz ponders over whether the deal is really worth aggrieving an old lady, before he finally decides to call off the Hounslow project, even at the expense of money, to which Dimpy agrees. Jazz rushes to the railway station where the three are waiting for their train; he proceeds to tell how he cancelled the deal and saved Malika's tree, when Tia's water breaks suddenly. The scene then cuts to the hospital where she has delivered a baby girl, and, for the first time, Jazz is genuinely happy at the prospect of having a family and being a grandfather.

The film ends with Jazz's friends Rhea and Rocky joining his family at his parents' home for Diwali celebrations. Jazz whispers into baby Kiara's ears that she will be the world's first baby to witness the wedding of both her parents and her grandparents, as Tia looks on happily.

Kajarya 2013 WebRip Hindi 1080p x264 DDP 2.0  - ShamsiMovies

Kajarya is a 2015 Indian Bollywood docudrama film directed by Madhureeta Anand. Kajarya explores the issue of female infanticide, and was released commercially in India on 4 December 2015  to rave reviews and good audience reception. The film is co-produced by Bengali director Qaushiq Mukherjee popularly known as Q, Starfire movies and Madhureeta Anand's company Ekaa Films. The film is shot in Haryana.

It is a feature film that deals with the pertinent topic of sex selection in India. It is a thriller about two women – The first is Kajarya played by Meena Hooda, a woman who lives in the village and has the job of killing babies and the other is an opportunistic journalist from New Delhi played by Ridhima Sud.

Deborah Young of The Hollywood Reporter found Kajarya to be "disturbing and engrossing" and said that, "A chilling social study of infanticide is brought to life through the viewpoint of two women."[9] Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV gave the film a rating of 4 out of 5 saying that, "Kajarya is a powerful and important film that finds vestiges of genuine humanity in an area of impenetrable darkness. But it offers no false hopes. This film is for discerning audiences who have a stomach for the bitter truth." Mohar Basu of The Times of India gave the film a rating of 2.5 out of 5 and said that, "Kajarya is a lethal film that has its heart in the right place. It is both engrossing and abhorrent, addressing the issue of female infanticide with an astute understanding of the subject." Namrata Joshi of The Hindu praised the director for her earnest and sincere effort but also criticized the film for being low on intensity. The critic said that, "There are many stories that lie hidden in the depressing newspaper headlines. The art is in giving them a compelling, emotional shape on screen. Madhureeta Anand succeeds but marginally so in Kajarya." Shubha Shetty-Saha of Mid-Day gave the film a rating of 3.5 out of 5 and said that, "Dark, straight narration with excellent performances work for the film. It is a sincere attempt to bring forth an issue that is very much a part of this country and the one we must be really worried about." Mehul S Thakkar of Deccan Chronicle gave the film a rating of 2 out of 5 and said that, "The film is not easy to the eye and is disturbing". The critic praised the acting performances of all actors but criticized the inconsistent screenplay saying that it made the film "less engaging"

The film premiered at The Dubai International Film Festival as one of the 3 Indian films that had its world premier there.
The Film's Europe Premier took place in Geneva at The International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights where Kajarya was one of the 8 films in competition.
The film was the opening film at Elles Tournet in Brussels, a prestigious women's film festival.
In addition, the film was selected at The Montreal World Film Festival.
Kajarya also won the “Best Foreign Film Award” at The Silk Road Film Festival in Xian, China. The festival had 140 films and Kajarya was the only Indian film to win an award.
The film has since traveled to 10 other film festivals in America and Europe.
Kajarya was screened in Los Angeles at both The Lady Film Festival and The LA Femme Film Festival.
The Hollywood reporter review said, "Kajarya is both disturbing and engrossing as it plunges the viewer into the heart of darkness in an Indian village. Director Madhureeta Anand is a storyteller who interweaves the lives of two women – one modern, the other ancient."
